Ayin Es:

Born, 1968, mixed media artist, Ayin Es is a transgender abstract artist from Los Angeles who identifies as nonbinary or genderqueer known for their unusual oil paintings, drawings and collages. Their handmade Artist's books reside in museums such as the Getty, Brooklyn Museum, and National Museum of Women in the Arts. They've also won a Pollock-Krasner Fellowship the Wynn Newhouse Award, and the Bruce Geller Memorial Award from the American Jewish University. They currently live and work in Joshua Tree, CA.

Niki Ford:

(b.1974) is a queer and non-binary artist that lives and works in Los Angeles and Landers, California. Ford earned their BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1997. They returned to drawing in 2019 and to clay in 2021 after two decades of working as a pedigreed cook and chef. Recent exhibitions include: The Lodge (solo), Mojave Flea Trading Post, Palm Springs, Terence Koh: diary (in Terence’s online “community store” and shared recipe pages), Andrew Edlin Gallery, New York (group), Objects for Spiritual Use, Annex at M+B, Los Angeles (group) and GUT FRIENDS, curated by Ry Rocklen with the Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation, Ojai (group).
